Presenting poetry and dance as a unified art form

Presentation of Laureate Crowns for
Ambassador/Muse of Dancing Poetry

Presented by United Poets Laureate International
President Benjamin R. Yuzon, M.E.
Assisted by Natica and Richard Angilly

Each year, Artists Embassy International and the Dancing Poetry Festival present awards to people or organizations that have furthered the concept of world understanding through the universal language of the arts. This year, UPLI is awarding the International Troupe of Natica Angilly's Poetic Dance Theater Company with gold laurel crowns in honor of their dedication in traveling to further peace and understanding through poetry and dance.  We thank UPLI for this magnificent honor.

The ceremony is conducted by Hon. Dr. Benjamin R. Yuzon, assisted by Natica and Richard Angilly. In 1986, Natica was crowned Spirit of Poetry and Richard was crowned International Poet, Laureate Man of Letters  in the San Francisco City Hall. In 2004, AEI's Judy Hardin Cheung was crowned International Poet, Laureate Woman of Letters at Wayland Baptist University, Plainview Texas.

Now, join us in reliving the celebration of the laureate crowning ceremony for Natica Angilly's Poetic Dance Theater Company at the California Legion of Honor's Florence Gould Theater, San Francisco, CA.

United Poets Laureate presented gold laurel crowns to dancers who have performed internationally at the World Congress of Poets. UPLI, Artists Embassy International and Natica Angilly's Poetic Dance Theater Company have travelled to many continents and countries promoting world peace and cultural understanding through poetry, art and the concepts of brotherhood.
