Our opening number was "In Passage," poem written and read by Richard Angilly, performed by the Poetic Dance Theater Company, videographed by J. William Levinson, father of DPF 2021's videographer, Arthur Levinson. This performance includes many innovative video effects that were not previously available on non-digital video equipment. e.g. Pixelation was close to unheard of. This video won the Grand Prize of the International Poetry Film Festival, 1986. |

Takako is the first to create poetry and dance based on the traditional concepts of ikebana flower arrangements. She is professional ikebana creator and instructor in the San Francisco East Bay Area. She is a frequent presenter at the Palace of the Legion of Honor Art Museum's "Bouquet de Arts annual presentation where artists are invited to represent anything in the museum in another form such as painting, sculpture or, in Takako's case, ikebana flower arrangement. |
