After break time, we still had standing room only.
Dancers of the Pharoahs

A rousing finale was given by Banat el Hogar, lead by Loywanner Haddadou (front, yellow) giving us excinement with tinkling coin belts, jingling tambourines and swishing Gitano skirts with their rendition of a "Reconquista" from Middle Ages Spanish dance, music and poetry.
We regret that our guest poets Laverne and Carol Frith of Sacramento were unable to attend. Also, we are sad that President of United Poets Laureate International, Mr. Benjamin R. Yuzon, and his wife, Pilar, were unable to attend. Ben is gravely ill. We hope you will all visit the website of United Poets Lureate International, especially if you are interested in information regarding the July, 2011 World Congress of Poets to be held in Larissa Greece. Dear Ben, please get well soon.
