to snow that’s not too cold. A plus for
bold, yet not too bold. Cheers to ee
cummings and goings, to hummingbirds
and humming bees who pollinate with ease . . .
Praise to elders and disabled who try
hard, then try again harder . . . Yay to
barter for the fun in it, to saliva
deciphered into DNA; hey, here’s to
hay for the sun in it;
Ah, chandeliered tall grass and artistic stubble
as seen from one’s backside in some wild
meadow; rise, rainbows that kids blow free
from soapy circles blown for bubbles. Bravo,
endangered species holding on, and refugees
yearning for riddance of war . . .
Wahoo, all who grab life’s golden ring
and hold on fast. May blessings cling
