Artists Embassy International, the sponsoring organization for Natica Angilly's Poetic Dance Theater Company, has various annual events. Please mark your calendar to be sure you can participate. In addition to our annual events, many other events occur during the year to offer our members many exciting artistic activities and venues.

January 1-April 15: Opening of the interntional Dancing Poetry Contest on which the Dancing Poetry Festival is built around each September. For rules, please click on "Contest Rules" tab.
February: Redwood Empire Chinese Association Chinese New Year Celebrations occur at many locations and dates from January through February. Please visit www.recacenter.org. Contact Judy Cheung, jhcheung@comcast.net for info.
April: National Dance Week Classes and Performance. Contact Natica at naticaaei@aol.com for info.
April: April 15 is the postmarked-by deadline for the Dancing Poetry Contest which provides the program for the Dancing Poetry Festival in the fall. This early deadline date is to ensure we have time to judge the poems, then choreograph and costume, etc., our prize winners and to coordinate the poets reading and supportive acts into a grand performance for you all, available world-wide through YouTube.
June: June 1 is the deadline for dance proposals for the Dancing Poetry Festival. Autumn: Dancing Poetry Festival presented via YouTube with prize winning poets from around the world recorded via Zoom reading their prize winning work plus additional dance acts combining poetry and dance as a unified dance form. 3 Grand Prize Winners from the Dancing Poetry Contest will also be choreographed and danced.
December: AEI annual board meeting and Christmas Party. All interested members are welcome to attend. Please contact Natica at naticaaei@aol.com for info. The exact details are usually set in November for the December meeting.
