What To Do With Your Fears

Lay them gently in a nest and tuck them in
Wear them as a string of pearls
Send them to the sky on eagles’ wings
Rock them in a cradle
Dance with them in the moonlight
Howl with them
Send them downstream on leaf-boats
Sing them as songs
Cry them out as jeweled tears
Cook them into a hearty broth
Wrap them as presents and
pretend to be surprised when you open them.
Hold them close and whisper, “Don’t worry, I’ve got you.”
Love them.
Love them.
Love them.
