The 32nd Dancing Poetry Festival was held, for the second time, at the Universalist Unitarian Church of Berkeley in Kensington, CA. In the past, we had a glorious theater setting. Now, we have a more informal setting in a beautiful location that accomodates sales booths of unique items relating to poetry, dance, many art genres and food. You can sit and enjoy the show or walk around and enjoy the many attractions and areas of interest that enhanse our afternoon experience at the Dancing Poetry Festival

Natica Angilly is the founder and the Dancing Poetry Festival. She developed the concept of poetry and dance as a unified art form as we see it performed at this festival.
| Tatseena, who began her dance career as a student of Natica, has joined the leadership team of the Dancing Poetry Festival. Tatseena and her dance troupe, Serpent Sirens, are now co-coordinators with Natica.
We continue to include many acts from currently active dancers of many genres who perform poetry and dance as a unified art form such as Lisa Rei's New Dance Company.
We also continue to include acts from many countries and ethnicities from around the world such as this performance of the Redwood Empire Chinese Associations' rendition of a modernized traditional fan dance in the style of Shanghai.
With all of the recent changes to the Dancing Poetry Festival, we offer an afternoon of poetry, dance, various art genres combined into a day of uplifting inspiration and new insights into how to better negotiate the rigors of our current times.
